Trust & Safety
How RecoveryCompass helps people compare recovery options with more clarity and transparency.
Status Labels on Profiles
Some profiles carry a status label. The label describes what the source we cite says about the center. It is not a licence, rating or endorsement from RecoveryCompass, and it does not guarantee that the information is current. We are not a licensing authority. When we could not confirm something, we say so — that does not mean the information is untrue.
The center appears in public sources and its basic details (name, contacts, described services) are listed. The label does not mean the center is registered, licensed or approved by any authority: we could not confirm a licence or supervision, or did not look for one.
The source we cite states that the center operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Health (and, where shown, the Ministry of Welfare). Unless the profile says otherwise, we have not inspected licence documents ourselves; the source and date are shown on the profile.
The source we cite states that the center holds a Ministry of Health licence. That is the source's statement, not our own confirmation, unless the profile says we have seen the document. Check the licence number, validity and scope directly with the center and the Ministry.
Profiles may list items we could not confirm, such as staffing, availability or prices. “Could not confirm” only means we did not find it in a source as of the date shown. Statements made by a center are presented as the center's own statements.
Ranking Transparency
Our editorial decisions are not influenced by treatment providers. Payment does not influence ranking, verification status, editorial placement or featured positioning. Search results show the centers that match the filters you choose; when no sort is chosen, centers appear in an order set by our editors.
