Detox and Withdrawal Risk
Stopping alcohol, benzodiazepines, sedatives, or opioids suddenly can cause serious or life-threatening withdrawal symptoms — including seizures, severe disorientation, and cardiovascular complications. Do not attempt to stop using these substances without guidance from a physician or licensed medical professional. RecoveryCompass cannot assess individual withdrawal risk and does not provide detox supervision or medical monitoring of any kind.
